Position Summary:
A Penske District Rental Manager is a position for a disciplined, self-motivated individual with a passion for providing the highest customer service and growing the business.
Major Responsibilities:
-Effectively manage the rental department of a district location as well as any branches, rental marts, and agents
-Provide leadership for the commercial and consumer product lines for the district
-Assist business rental customers, full service lease customers, and consumer rental customers
-Act as liaison between internal customers such as the maintenance department, lease sales representatives, district administrators, and administration associates
-Responsible for direct supervision, training, and coaching of rental associates at multiple locations
-Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
-At least 2 years of sales experience required
-At least 2 years of management experience required
-High school degree or equivalent required
-Bachelor's degree preferred
-Valid drivers license required
-Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and Powerpoint preferred
-Strong written/verbal communication skills required
-Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required
