Our client is a not-for-profit, community-based health system serving northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio. This health system currently has a great opportunity for a friendly, adaptable, and approachable Occupational Therapist to work onsite at the plant facility of their client company, which happens to be the nation's leading manufacturer and most preferred brand of fiberglass and steel exterior door systems.
Occupational Therapist
Butler, Indiana
As an Occupational Therapist, you would provide professional care and practice occupational therapy for approximately 800 employees working 3 different shifts. You would evaluate, plan, implement, and document care provided for your onsite services. These services would include, but not be limited to, injury assessment, preventative care, wellness planning, ergonomic assessment and implementation, and job coaching. Your efforts would complement those of an onsite Health and Safety Committee and other applicable healthcare providers. To qualify, you should hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy and possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Your background should include experience in onsite wellness, outpatient, ortho, and ergonomics. Licensure in the State of Indiana by the Health Professions Bureau of Indiana is required.
