The Scrum Master (SM) is expected to manage 2 to 3 Agile pods and/or Kanban system teams in Global Finance IT to support Global Finance functions. The Scrum Master must be experienced and a self-starter. Team work is very important. The SM must collaborate well with stakeholders and team to achieve team goals.
Basic Description of Role:
- Coach the team in self-organization and cross-functionality
- Facilitate scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
- Remove impediments to the team’s progress to its sprint commitments
- Enact change & continuous improvement to increase the productivity of the team and quality of deliverables
- Coach the team in organizational environments in which scrum is not yet fully adopted and understood
- Ensure team execution and delivery to committed sprint work
- Protect team from over-commitment
- Possess a strong drive to complete when faced with ambiguity
- Be active in a community of Scrum Masters to receive mentoring from Agile coaches as well as provide coaching for other teammates sharing best practices and lessons learned.
- Perform portfolio and budget management
- Manage business relationships with other component teams necessary for product release

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
- At least 2 years of experience leading Agile Scrum teams
- At least 3 years of experience in Project Management
- At least 5 years of experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business,Project Management, or MIlitary Experience
- CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or CST (Certified Scrum Trainer)
- Experienced in Kanban
- PMP or Masters Certificate of Project Management (CPM)
- 5 years of experience in Project Management
- 5 years of experience in Systems Analysis
- 5 years of experience in Working in a finance company and with application life cycles
