Role Description
Procures and coordinates the flow of materials to meet production requirements, with emphasis on lean methodology.

Responsible for managing costs/budgets, customer and/or material orders as well as inventories in multiple systems.

Develops and monitors warehouse space planning as applicable and addresses capacity issues with both internal and external customers

Responsibilities
Monitors, maintains and reviews multiple systems on a daily basis in order to manage materials, customer orders, capacity and inventories.

Procures and coordinates the flow of materials to meet production requirements, with emphasis on lean methodology and utilizing work practices consistent with lean principles.

Proactively identifies potential risks to production plans and inventory goals and will effectively communicate with internal and external stake holders to problem solve.

Participates in projects as required and provides data to the team.

Responsible for managing costs/budgets, customer and/or material orders as well as inventories in multiple systems.

Develops and monitors warehouse space planning as applicable and addresses capacity issues with both internal and external customers.

Maintains and utilizes various cross-functional reports.

Develops appropriate metrics and action plans to ensure customer/business needs are met.

Performs root cause analysis to identify appropriate and effective corrective actions.

Works closely with all site functions to develop/maintain procedures and work practices.

Conducts tasks in strict accordance with safety guidelines and processing standards, such as FDA’s current GMP’s and SOP’s. Participates in audits as needed.

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business or Related Fields
High School Graduate (or GED) + 8 years of relevant experience
Associate + 5 years relevant experience.
Preferred: APICS certification (CPIM preferred)

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Must have solid understanding and use of Microsoft applications; experience with Pfizer systems, (i.e. SAP) strongly desired.

PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Occasional business travel may be required (<5%)
Weekend or evening work may be required as supply situations dictate.
