Bayer Business and Technology Services LLC seeks Engineers III – Equipment Design (multiple openings) to work at our offices in Baytown, TX, and prepare technical equipment specifications on assigned projects as well as provide assistance to the Manager of Mechanical Engineering Must have master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
Will also accept bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate and progressively responsible experience in a related position. Must also know (through coursework or experience): (i) multiple aspects of Mechanical Engineering, including detail equipment calculations, preparing specifications, reviewing vendors’ drawings, and procedures from purchase through shipment; (ii) engineering and design of production equipment such as pumps, heat exchangers, pressure vessels; (iii) the application of relevant U.S. Codes and Standards such as ASME, API, and TEMA; and (iv) software such as PV elite and/or Compress. Must also hold an EIT registration (FE professional licensure), with ability to obtain PE certification.
