Body Damage Area Manager
General Responsibilities
Appraises automobile or other vehicle damage to determine cost of repair for insurance claim settlement by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Examines damaged vehicle to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical, electrical, or interior damage.

Estimates cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each item of damage.

Evaluates practicality of repair as opposed to payment of market value of vehicle before accident.

Reviews repair cost estimates with automobile repair shop to secure agreement on cost of repairs.

Assist the Area Maintenance Manager with overseeing various maintenance functions as well as body damage appraisal and management within the area of operations in the surrounding area.

Qualifications

Minimum of two years related experience and/or ASE Certification in Damage Analysis and Estimating.
Working knowledge of current model year vehicle
Experience using the Mitchell UltraMate Automated Collision Damage Estimating System preferred.
