84 Lumber is currently searching for bright, ambitious individuals for our Inventory Manager position. This position is the “Springboard” into the different departments at our World Headquarters, including Pricing, Human Resources, and Purchasing… just to name a few! We promote nearly 100% from within, so in order to move into these departments, you must first become an Inventory Manager to learn about our company operations. With excellent performance, you can be promoted in as quick as 6 months into our other departments! Inventory Managers are responsible for communications and inventory replenishment for approximately 30 stores and $25-30 million dollars worth of inventory. Maintaining optimal inventory levels requires analyzing numerous reports and reacting on the results. Your goal is to keep the stores in stock and under budget. As an Inventory Manager you will: Analyze and monitor store inventory levels Analyze stock orders Review replenishment reports and recommend potential order needs Trace orders for delivery status Other duties as assigned Training will include 10-12 weeks working in an 84 Lumber Company store (near where you live) to gain product knowledge and store operations experience. The position is based in Eighty Four, PA (Near Washington, PA). First year earnings are approximately $31,000-$33,000 with rapid promotion opportunities! Required Skills Bachelor's degree preferred (Business or Marketing major preferred) 6 months customer service or supervisory experience. Excellent communication skills.
