Role Description
The Manager, Sales Strategy Rx to OTC Switch – Retail Professional Sales is responsible for assisting in the development of a trade strategy for a new brand and/or category of a prescription brand that is in process to become an OTC product with the FDA. The individual will incorporate best practices and develop new go-to-market practices and strategies within Clinics, Pharmacy and the traditional store. The Sr. Manager, Sales Strategy is responsible for supporting the achievement of brand/brand segment sales objectives by providing clinic and pharmacy strategies and action steps, analytics, and insights to customer teams for the brand/brand segment to which he/she is assigned. The Manager, Sales Strategy serves as a key liaison to Medical, Regulatory, Customer Teams and Marketing.

Responsibilities
• Represent professional retail sales in the Development of the brand/category platform to provide key insights and identify learning opportunities that will ultimately deliver a comprehensive platform to enable activation across customer enterprise and maximize commercial opportunity.

• Create roadmap to enhance customer team's ability to penetrate clinics and pharmacy to maximize growth and share for Pfizer’s brands.

• Assist in the creation of professional retail sales strategy aligned with key customer marketing objectives for clinics and pharmacies.

• Work closely with Marketing Research/Marketing to develop professional retail sales programs and initiatives driven by key patient insights that link the patient journey to the consumer experience and allow for store level activation.

• Work with marketing to ensure appropriate resources are identified and funded according to commercial strategy.

• Anticipate and respond to customer and customer team needs, visit retail environments, Clinics and Pharmacies regularly and initiate appropriate selling enhancement and/ or defense plans to capitalize on market opportunities

• Provide collaborative input on trade strategies and identify how retail & clinics tie-in to maximize the opportunities

• Collaborate with analytical/insights team to determine impact and effectiveness of trade-specific brand management initiatives in clinic and pharmacy and identify account specific opportunities.

Qualifications
- 4-yr degree preferred

- 7+ years prior experience including; with pharmaceutical selling/account management and/or professional trade marketing

- Understands the needs of the customer, the marketplace dynamics and the needs of PCH and Pfizer.

- Serves as liaison to ensure good strategic alignment of systems and strategies

- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, complex matrix, changing environment.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to listen to understand, and effectively resolve competing priorities.

- Open and accessible leadership style, with the ability to consistently achieve positive
results

- Comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, Clinics, Pharmacies, Brand strategies, competitive products, channels and the ability to apply this knowledge to solve complex problems successfully

- Ability to access, assess, interpret, and draw accurate conclusions from patient, sales, customer and shopper data

- Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications, database information sources
and web applications
