Position Summary:
We develop and operate the EC services arround Rakuten Ichiba with the independent team of Japan Ichiba.
Currently, we are in charge of following services.
・ Buyback (http://buyback.rakuten.co.jp) - launched 2013
・ Rakuten B2B (http://b2b.rakuten.co.jp/)
・ Rakuten Business (http://business.rakuten.co.jp/) - launched 2011

Buyback service is a new service of the used market.
It can environmentally contribute to the society by enhancement of the reuse market, so it is very perspective.
Rakuten B2B and Business are for business users, that is a rare in Rakuten group.They need skills and viewpoints different from the cunsumer oriented services.
Our group/team consist of small number of people, then each person can exert their discretion very much.
We can address on the service development with a wide variety of activities unlike the large organization.
We contribute Rakuten Ichiba by producing useful service to merchants through developing and operating these services.

Responsibilities:
・Produce new service design through competitor suvey and technology innovation
・Investigate and improve architecture
・Keep system availability of own service
・Grow junior members through the code review and so on

Desired Skills and Expertise

Minimum Qualifications:

Development language:
・ Programming experience with PHP, Java, Perl, Ruby for over 2-5 years
・ Developing experience using somehow web application framework for over 1-3 years
OS/Sever Middle ware:
・ Linux/Apache (over 1-2 years)
DB:
・ Some of the RDBMS (over 1-3 years)
Other Skills:
・ Understanding for security measures by web programing
・ Programming in consideration of commonalize, performance, maintainability
・ Understanding for HTML／CSS／Javascript
・ Understanding for SQL
・ Understanding web relation technology as exemplified by HTTP, Cookie
・ Communicating smoothly with team members and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:
・Practical experience with agile process (Scrum)
・Web application develppment experience using Cake PHP
・Development experience of web system related EC
・Construction and operation experience of Linux environment

Language Level:
English: Conversational level
Japanese: Business level
Have TOEIC score over 800
