Job Description
Position Responsibilities:
Ensure development offerings are appropriate and effective
- Partner with subject matter experts and customers to assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers in order to develop a plan for course/program creation
- Use instructional design techniques to develop facilitator guides, participant guides, and visual aides for online/virtual/classroom courses. Information should be presented using a variety of techniques such as simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, lecture, and role plays.
- Create supplemental training materials such as job aides, conversation guides, and tool kits
- Partner with external vendors to develop classroom and online training
- Partner with Subject Matter Experts and customers to create participant assessments, such as individual training assessments and personal awareness surveys.
- Partner with Subject Matter Experts and customers to implement ensure training is appropriate and effective. Responsibilities may include observing training courses, advising on the content for feedback surveys, implementing improvements in training programs based on survey results.
- Use data to identify trends in how and when training and development courses are accessed/completed in order to better serve employee needs.
Project Support
- Support enterprise and Organizational Effectiveness departmental communication efforts
- Support training rollout initiatives by working closely with the Training Manager and subject matter experts to execute their objectives, planning materials distribution, working with the LMS technical team to make materials available in LMS, and ensuring effective communication
- Support the employee portal by designing content and contributing to the Learning & Development pages
Experience Required:
Required:
- Track record of success in planning / coordinating projects.
- Experience communicating with large audiences through written media.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Experience building relationships and completing projects with vendors.
- Organization, follow-up, and attention to detail are a must.
- Proven experience in managing numerous priorities and multiple projects in a fast paced environment is a plus.
- Previous experience with instructional design
- Experience leading meetings
- Experience giving presentations to large and small audiences.
- Systems oriented

- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented with good follow-up practices and customer focus.

- Must be knowledgeable in computer systems (MS Office - Excel, Word, Power Point, and Access)
Preferred:
- Previous experience working with an LMS.
- Experience with global training rollouts
- Experience participating as a team member for global project rollouts.
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in business management, communications, human resources or related field
