Our Client Company is a recognized world leader and innovator in precision injection molding, tooling and contract manufacturing serving market-leading companies across the globe. They are currently seeking a Production Manager in Bethel, VT. The salary is up to $100K, depending on experience. Relocation assistance is available.

The Production Manager takes responsibility for all production operations and the safety of all injection molding and assembly/decorating manufacturing areas. This “hands-on” position requires that more than 80 percent of the work requirements be executed in the manufacturing departments. He or she manages, directs, and directly assists in Mold Set-Up, Processing, and Material Handling. Continuous oversight of the Molding Department operations and the direct supervision of all shift Team Leaders ensure the efficient production of high-quality components. Duties include ensuring that raw material is handled and processed correctly, finished goods are properly packaged and labeled, and that employees are properly trained and have safe working conditions. Other responsibilities include the implementation of fully qualified and documented production processes, the transitioning of new tooling programs, troubleshooting of production processes, auditing of production setups for adherence to the documented process, and identifying automation- and productivity- improvement opportunities.

Requirements:
• An Associate’s degree in Engineering or a technical field, or equivalent experience
• 5 - 10 years’ experience in processing engineering-grade materials (resins, polyesters, nylons)
• Proficiency with Fanuc, Whitman, and Yushin robots and Vision Systems
• RJG pressure transducer experience
• RJG level I and II certification
• Familiarity with Engle and Vandoren machines
• Proficiency with Vision Systems and a strong background in RGB 1 and 2
• Strong familiarity with Northeast/New England living conditions or the ability to acclimate
• Aggressive personality that can handle “all types”
• Hands-on work habits
• Background that demonstrates strong career progression
