Sr. Programmer Analyst - Lawson

This is a specialized area of responsibility within the title of Senior Programmer Analyst.
This position will be responsible for Lawson Suite administration, working within a team environment. This position's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Translating business requirements into effective and efficient computer systems for small projects or a sub-system of a larger project.
Maintaining and supporting existing applications.
Design, coding, unit and system testing, documentation, assisting in training and implementation of projects, programs, workflows, etc. which are assigned by the Director, Project Manager or Project Leader.
This position is responsible for maintaining a very high level of technical expertise on all technologies that are included in the Lawson Suite.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
5-10 years technical experience in the design, development and deployment of complex business applications.
Should be proficient in technical design areas and system testing.
Works well in a team environment.
Well defined communication skills and a demonstrated aptitude for communicating with both the technical staff and end-users to understand application requirements and design. Skills required to apply:
At least five years recent, direct, hands-on experience supporting Lawson, preferably on an HP-UX/Oracle platform.
1-5 years experience in a Lawson Administrator/Security Officer Role.
At least five years developing applications in COBOL (preference to MicroFocus Cobol in the HP-UX operating system environment).
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong desire to learn and become proficient with the Infor v10 Product Suite including Infor Process Automation, SmartOffice, Lawson 9 Security, and Inform Mingle.
Complementary Skills that are highly regarded: ·
Good understanding of code development methodologies (waterfall and iterative).
Working knowledge of SQL.
Working knowledge of Unix Scripting.
Retail experience in a Publicly-held company.
