The primary responsibility of this role, as Manager, Sales Trainer, is to design and develop training materials under the direction of Associate Director, Sales Training.
The incumbent will: •Participate and lead projects at the direction of Manager, Sales Training; •Responsible for coordinating and facilitating all Phases of Sales Training for new hires and experienced personnel in all channels (HCP,A1CNow, MC, MO/Gov, Trade); •Involved in assisting with the coordination of training for new sales managers, current sales managers and the management development/job experience program; •Work and coach sales representatives in the field on a regular and as needed basis coordinating coaching objectives with respective sales management; •Work with sales management and marketing to help develop and implement plans for new and existing diabetes products; •Communicate the needs of field representatives to in-house departments; •Interact with key internal/external customers to establish key working relationships.
The selected candidate is required to possess the following: •Bachelor’s degree; •Minimum 3 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical sales/medical device sales; •Documented success and top performer in respective sales organization/division; •Demonstrated solid presentation, written and oral communication skills; •Excellent project management skills; •Be able to work independently and in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications •Sales training experience; •Previous diabetes sales and/or training experience. *Salary and grade level will be commensurate with experience and/or education level.
