Job Description

Position Responsibilities:
The Regional Portfolio Manager’s primary goal is to ensure the prioritization of regional ERP initiatives are synchronized with global ERP priorities. This role will provide support for Sherwin-William’s global ERP expansion and include project management, implementation assistance and ongoing support for global ERP initiatives. Typically, the role will include portfolio management of Oracle E-Business Suite activities in various countries. The Regional Portfolio Manager is the connection between IT and the business units it serves, and will be available to support key division priorities, or related project management activities within the Global ERP group. Additional responsibilities include assistance in the defining and standardization of reporting and visibility globally. This role will address the key focus areas of Reduce Complexity, Insure Compliance, and Reduce Costs.

Essential Functions
Strategy & Planning
• Participate in the planning, discovery, design, development, execution and leadership of the global agenda in various regions of the world.
• Meet with clients, peers and decision makers to define business requirements, ensure business goal alignment and systems goals for global entities.
• Establish and maintain solid interaction with business users in all regions to ensure all have access to and updates of core information.

Acquisition & Deployment
• Lead the IT global ERP agenda in various regions of the world.
• Coordinate localized projects with Corporate IT (or other IT) resources.

Operational Management
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of local business models, culture and navigation. Bridge the gap between Corporate IT (shared services organizations) and local business/IT staff.
• Develop, enhance and maintain processes to ensure ERP services are delivered to our clients meet the guidelines established.
• Ensure excellent communication between all parties (Corporate IT, Local IT, and Divisional sponsor) for all IT Global ERP activities. Manage the communication through the use of weekly status calls, regional meetings, quarterly activity summaries, project plans, detailed task lists and issues logs.
• Engage with clients, vendors and Corporate IT staff to address projects, problems and concerns.
• Communicate events, negotiate, and escalate as appropriate.
• Develop alternative solutions to various projects/problems, assess the feasibility and make recommendations based on overall analysis.
• Proactively search out technologies or processes that enhance SW’s ability to be competitive.
• Maintain a range of Oracle E-Business familiarity, to include Project Management, Oracle Financials and Supply Chain Management. Develop relationships with subject matter experts in these disciplines to continually develop a deep technology base.
• Engage with key technology subject matter vendors and experts, to enhance business solutions development and deployment.
• Educate international clients on E-Business offerings.
• Assist with implementing E-Business Services and periodically review offering and adjust according to the needs of the business.
• Owner of global ERP project and time reporting
• Owner of regional project prioritization and governance

Incidental Functions
• Attend meetings in participation with the team, clients, peers and/or management.
• Assist with other projects as may be required to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the work.
• Participate in hiring activities and fulfilling affirmative action obligations and ensuring compliance with the equal employment opportunity policy.
• Occasional evening and weekend work to support operational needs and regular evening work, primarily conference calls, to support system implementations.
• Travel internationally up to 25% of the time expected.
Experience Required:
Knowledge & Experience
• 8+ years IT and/or Business experience.
• IT Portfolio Manager with ERP experience preferred
• Understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite or related ERP system(s) preferred
• Comprehension of Business client application processing.
• Experience dealing with applications, business, and its partners.
• Understanding of the business sufficiently to communicate the importance of projects to the technology teams, as well as to understand the technology sufficiently to communicate the complexity in simple terms for the business.
• Proficient with Project Management concepts and tools.
• Proficient use of problem-solving solutions, techniques and documentation strategies.

Education Required:
Formal Education & Certification
• Bachelor Degree in IT, Business or a related field or equivalent experience.
• MBA preferred.
• PMP preferred.
