MIS Analyst

MIS Analyst with Capital One Services, LLC in Plano, TX; Multiple positions available:

-Gather, analyze, and report business data to support managerial decision making and policy formulation.
-Formulate and develop quantitative models to be utilized in management decision support systems utilizing knowledge of quantitative modeling and other optimization methods to lead data infrastructure analysis, meeting the management’s monitoring and reporting needs.
-Utilize SAS, SQL, Teradata, Unix, Oracle, Korn Shell Scripts, Business Objects to interpret the results of quantitative and qualitative data analysis projects.
-Use quantitative models to develop business methods and procedures, obtain approval and assist in their execution in a continuous improvement environment.
-Present results and ideas to senior managers and decision makers to influence business direction.

Qualifications
The position requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Operations Research, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Science, or a related quantitative analytical field. Must have the following skill set through education or experience: quantitative and qualitative data analysis; SAS; SQL; Teradata; Unix; Oracle; Korn Shell Scripts; Business Objects.
Must pass company’s assessment.
